Week 2The Bachelor : Season 22 Episode 2

Welcome to The Bachelor version of The Hollywood Reporter's Power Rankings. Each week, THR's Bachelor experts will be tuning into the romantic connections and dramatic shenanigans taking place on season 21 of the long-running ABC franchise. In an effort to cater to viewers who opt out of show spoilers, these rankings are based on opinions and observations week-by-week.

Week 2The Bachelor : Season 22 Episode 2

After slaying the season premiere, first impression rose-scoring Rachel was a blip in the second episode since she didn't land on one of Nick's date cards. But it's likely Nick felt secure enough in this relationship to skip a date this week and that there will be more Nick and Rachel to come.

The rose ceremonies are conducted differently than previous seasons. In week 2, the Bachelorettes alternated handing out roses, with each rose coming from both of them. From week 3 onwards, the contestants had to divide into two groups based on which Bachelorette they were pursuing. If a contestant rejected a rose from one of the Bachelorettes, he would return to the line and wait to see if he received a rose from the other Bachelorette. If he did not receive a rose from the second Bachelorette, he was eliminated.[15][16]

Hayden Markowitz, Jacob Rapini, Joey Young, Johnny DePhillipo, Justin Young, Logan Palmer, and Tyler Norris returned for season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise.[55] Markowitz and Rapini were eliminated week 4. Palmer split from Kate Gallivan in week 5. Joey and Justin split from Shanae Ankney and Florence Moerenhout, respectively, in week 6. Norris left in a relationship with Brittany Galvin in week 6. DePhillipo got engaged to Victoria Fuller in week 6.

On the After the Final Rose in Clayton Echard's season of The Bachelor, Gabby and Rachel are named as bachelorettes and are telling the news to their respective families. Gabby arrived in Los Angeles and drives to Zamperini Field where she picks up Rachel, who was flying alone from Orlando. They arrive at their house in Southern California where they would live and begin their journeys.

The season finale continues where the previous episode left off with Gabby upset over Erich being unsure over an engagement. However, she quickly decides that Erich not proposing is not a dealbreaker. Rachel then goes to meet with Tino, where she tells him he is the only man left. Tino proposes to Rachel, she gives him the final rose, and they become engaged.

THE BACHELORETTE - Ò1905Ó Ð Gabby, Rachel and their 14 remaining men continue their seaside journey across Europe, docking at a city known for its rich history, romantic flair and delicious chocolate and beer: Bruges! Romance is in the air as connections deepen, but not all is coming up roses when Logan decides to confess feelings that send the ship, and our leading ladies, spinning. After reckoning with the fallout of LoganÕs decision, Rachel makes a shocking choice that affects all her remaining men. Meanwhile, Gabby heads to a group date exploring the city, but not all goes to plan when an uninvited guest arrives hoping to stir up feelings. Later, the women will attempt to shake off the surprises of the week with one-on-one dates to remember and a rose ceremony they wonÕt soon forget, on an all-new episode of the ÒThe Bachelorette,'' airing MONDAY, AUG. 8 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
